Hello! My name is Nathan Ha. I am a Computer Engineering student at the University of California, Riverside.

My main interests lie in the lower-level side of tech–things like embedded systems and FPGAs. That being said, I am open to just about any tech stack–from Rust to React–I want to try it all eventually.

I have experience in C, C++, Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript, just to name a few, as well as familiarity with the real-world software development cycle through Jira, and Jenkins.

My first internship was for software engineering at Cubic Corporation in San Diego. During my internship at Cubic, I developed and tested a public transportation ticketing system written mostly using C++ and JavaScript. Working closely with various teams, I resolved many issues to ensure seamless system deployment, and I strengthened my problem-solving skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

During the school year, I am an Associate Engineer for the FSAE Highlander Racing Team. I contributed to the development of the Vehicle Control Unit and Battery Management System for an electric race car. I utilized my knowledge in both C and C++ programming to work on the firmware for ST and TI boards.
